Free Meditation Techniques: Spiritual Meditation
Hello and welcome to my next article. Today I write about spiritual meditation process.
What is spiritual meditation at all? It is a self development process that develops one’s connection with God. You simply, talk to God asking Him for what you want. Then you need to listen to Him. Here it needs some effort from you to be done.
Here I describe for you simple meditation technique of spiritual meditation that helps in finding and developing connection with inner self.
- Contemplate your faith. Do you really want to use this meditation technique? Without faith you couldn’t even learn how to speak or walk.
- Find a peaceful place where nothing could disturb you. Reserve as much time as possible.
- Sit comfortably and start relaxing your body and mind by taking a lot of deep, slow breaths.
- Doing so let all your problems flow away from your mind as you exhale.
- When you feel really relaxed contemplate about who you are inside? What are your good and bad sides? Be honest and do not cheat yourself.
- Now, focus on your relationship with inner self or God. What is role you have given to God in your life? Is it fair to put Him in such role? He is infinite, accept this and become more quiet in this relationship.
- Ask your questions and wait for answers. You must be sure that answers will arrive sooner or later. Wait and keep your mind focused
First sessions might feel chaotic and hard to achieve for you, especially if you didn’t practice meditation before. If it happens then first start practicing some easier exercices dedicated for beginner. I described them here, on this website. Especially I mean breathing exercises and thoughts silencing exercice. For example you might choose Shine Meditation Technique. IF you manage it’s objectives then come back to spiritual meditation.
In the mean time you realize that you receive answers mostly by feelings, images, impressions or memories flowing into your consciousness.
With some practice you start recognizing answers faster, so even easy form of dialog might happen during one meditation session. God, or inner self is always answering the problem is to recognize those answers. That’s why your mind must be properly prepared for such meditation path.
