Free Meditation Articles: Out of body Experience

What is out of body experience, astral voyage, bardo, lucid dreaming and how to learn oobe – this is today’s subject.

Out of Body Experience (OOBE, OBE) is a term which Robert A. Monroe used in his three books he wrote about OBE. Another ancient names for OBE is Astral Projection. Also there is Buddhist Bardo which also describes something very simmilar to OBE.

OBE is a phenomenon in which person separates his observing consciousness from physical body and travels independently. You may travel through physcal world as we know it, or you can discover another countless worlds they are possible over there. You can also contact with persons called Helpers or Guides. They are as much helpful as parents are helpful for their little children they don’t even know how to walk, talk or even see them. For some time I was experiencing such Helpers’ help and I know it feels much more real than physical reality. And this is beautiful.

I was writing some time ago about how to feel your hand’s chakras. I wanted to memory you this because today you will do another simmilar great exercise.

Lie on your back. Close your eyes and relax your body with few deep, slow breaths. Silent your thoughts and keep them under control. To prevent falling asleep start to count these breaths. You need to go into deep relaxation. When you got 50 imagine that your hands are in second position – in front of your chest. Just feel them as they are there. If you have trouble with remembering that feeling just put your hands to that position, memorize the feeling, put them back to first position and try again to feel them in the second position. It needs some practice bu it is possible to do such thing very well. Just try to remember the feeling as much as possible. Concentrate on it to make it as much real as possible.

When you feel your hands very clear try to move your fingers, turn around your hands, clap them, etc. Practice this exercise for few minutes a day for 3-5 days so you are able to imagine such virtual hand without relaxation.

Next time I write what to do next. Bye!
