Free Meditation Articles: Meditation Classes You Can work With

Hi and welcome to my next free meditation article. Today about meditating in classes. A lot of people wanting to learn meditation feel confused when working alone. I believe that anybody should spare few years meditating alone, because you are away of other’s opinions, thoughts or advice. You just discover yourself on your very own life-path.

But there might be a moment when you will need to contact with another experienced person or teacher. Those so-called teachers created meditation classess, so student can visit them and give a try to different meditation techniques and ways of teaching. Moreover, meditation classess allow you to communicate with other students and exchange experience.

There is also one more important benefit of working with group. You will experience something called a “group energy” or ambiency of that class. For some people it might be very powerful and motivating feeling as it is said that group’s energy is much more than just a sum of it’s participants.

Also good option is to try some meditation guided audio courses, which would help you understand the big picture of some meditation techniques and practice them in comfort of your home.

What meditation classess you can try: Yoga, Zen, Vipassana, Qigong, Tai Chi and Christian meditation are those most popular today I am writing about on this blog. Just try to search for it on Google like that: “yoga meditation class new york” (remember to enter your location) and you will be on your way.

One more thing I want to share with you: have you heard about martial arts? A lot of them is strictly connected with Buddhist meditation techniques. You may try some Karate school (I prefered Shotokan, as there 1/3 of training session was a meditation practice). Also Japanese Aikido is worth of mention. It is very soft self defense martial art system connected with Zen meditation techniques. The next one most is popular today Tai Chi Chuan. It is very soft in techniques and all the training is a dynamic meditation form.

All of them give you great health and strength, self defense and meditation abilities. Sessions are usually planned two times a week but you may also train at home for the rest of the week.

I hope my article was helpful to you. See you in the next one!
